Removing your braces is the most exciting day of your orthodontic journey - (second to getting your braces put on!) But removing the braces and seeing white spots on your teeth is terribly disappointing... but theres hope!


Facts:

White spots occur Around the braces - not under them White spots occur due to: Plaque accumulation & Lack of cleaning.

Your hygienist Can clean around your braces and it is important to keep up with your checkups during Orthodontic Treatment.

Going for a Cleaning every 4 months instead of every 6 months only adds 1 extra cleaning / year - But can be extremely helpful while you are in braces!


Go for a teeth cleaning every 4 months instead of 6.

But:

White Spot Lesions are completely PREVENTABLE!
